Poetry & Movement Workshop

Deeply inspired by the irreverent beauty of Leonard Cohen's poetry and music, performance artist and poet Fan Wu invited DWP dancers to read aloud three distinct forms of Leonard Cohen's work, ("You Tore Your Shirt", "Hey, That’s No Way to Say Goodbye", and "Tower of Song") and respond through gestures. We then co-composed a collective poem inspired by Leonard Cohen's work, fondly entitled, "Flannelette Pajamas". To watch this special and powerful workshop, click here.
