ADMINISTRATION AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
DWP is looking for individuals who have an interest in arts-based community non-profit organizations, with expertise in the arts, non-profit administration, non-profit law, due diligence, board governance, fundraising/donor relations, and marketing & communications. Term: 1 year.
Role:
Special fundraising projects with Executive Director
General data entry, and cleaning/updating databases and lists as needed (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Gmail Contacts and MailChimp); converting data from one format to another, finding duplicates and errors
Updating documents/reports
Experience/Skills Required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, and good organizational skills
Skilled with computers - including Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word as well as Google Drive, strong keyboarding skills
Proficiency doing internet research
Familiarity with MailChimp’s email marketing service, SquareSpace web design software and Canva
Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality
Willing to learn new things, and take on projects as needed
Ability to both work well as a team player and independently; able to problem solve and troubleshoot without supervision, though not afraid to ask for help when needed
